WELCOME TO RECON FITNESS

Recon is a nonprofit fitness and martial arts gym in Westbrook, Maine committed to empowering and connecting our community through BoxFit, Boxing, Striking, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Submission Grappling (Jiu Jitsu), and Cross-training. Our memberships have been made affordable to lower the barrier of entry for interested men, women and kids so that Greater Portland can have the opportunity to learn and be impacted by these incredible sports in a supportive, family oriented community.

BOX FIT | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

A 45 or 30 minute boxing inspired hiit workout. BoxFit blends personal coaching and circuit training with boxing technique for a one of a kind sweat that builds strength and grows confidence. All levels of fitness are welcome. Try your first class for free today!  

BOXING | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

30 minutes of boxing technique and 30 minutes of directed training focused on exploring strategy and execution. Designed for all levels.

MUAY THAI | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

A 60 minute class taught by professional Muay Thai Fighter Matt Probin. This class includes authentic Muay Thai technique and partner drills designed for all levels.

WRESTLING | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

A 90 minute practice taught by collegiate level coaches that covers all styles of wrestling. The practice is catered towards all-levels. Focus shifts seasonally between Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco-Roman styles. CLASS ON PAUSE DUE TO CURRENT CDC AND STATE GUIDELINES

MMA STRIKING | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED

30 minutes of boxing technique and 30 minutes of directed training focused on exploring strategy and execution. Designed for all levels.

NO GI BJJ | BEGINNER-ADVANCED

A 60 minute class taught by experienced competitor and amateur MMA fighter Henry Clark. This class is beginner friendly and covers basic and advanced offensive and defensive skills that may be applied to live rolling or competition. No experience is required. CLASS ON PAUSE DUE TO CURRENT CDC AND STATE GUIDELINES
